RESERVOIR SHORELINE MANAGEMENT

These reservoirs are treasured for their beauty and recreational heritage. They are a haven for boating, freshwater fishing, swimming, and water skiing and appreciation of their majestic setting. The water quality in the reservoirs is exceptional, as routinely monitored by Alliance and reported to the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation in accordance with their permits.

To protect these resources, the reservoirs and waterways of the Mongaup Projects are completely surrounded by company-owned properties. Use of these properties for any purposes other than those specifically permitted under the applicable project license is limited to company personnel unless expressly permitted under a license agreement with the neighboring parties. For those neighboring property owners that have entered into an agreement with the company, the Shoreline Management Guidelines summarize the permitted activities the property owner may engage in.
