(Monticello, NY - June 2008) - Alliance Energy Renewables, LLC ("Alliance Energy") will host a Charity Open Bass Fishing Tournament on the Swinging Bridge Reservoir in Monticello, Sullivan County, NY on Saturday, July 19, 2008. Alliance Energy is guaranteeing a $10,000 payout. The tournament is open to all interested anglers, 18 years and older. Helping to make this event a success are the tournament co-sponsors, First Bassmasters of Sullivan County, New York.

"The beauty of our reservoirs is unparalled, and we offer some of the finest fishing opportunities in the Catskills region," stated Nick Glenney, Alliance's Tournament Director. "This tournament celebrates the value and significance of Swinging Bridge Reservoir to local anglers." Swinging Bridge Reservoir is one of five individual reservoirs comprising the Mongaup Hydro System, which also includes the Toronto, Cliff Lake, Mongaup and Rio Reservoirs, the largest lakes in Sullivan County and the largest privately owned bodies of water in New York State.

"Swinging Bridge, being the largest lake in Sullivan County, is a vital recreational resource to local anglers and boaters alike, and we are thrilled the lake is open and are grateful to Alliance for communicating with and giving back to our community," added Noam Freedman, President of 1st Bassmasters.

"As stewards of our environment, all bass caught must be maintained in live-wells and will be released live following the tournament under the supervision of NYS Department of Environmental Conservation," explained Mr. Glenney.

"We are extremely appreciative of the support we are receiving from the Sullivan County Sheriff's Department and NYSDEC providing services for this event that will ensure traffic flow and enforcement, if needed," continued Glenney.

To accommodate the anticipated turnout, boats will be launched from both the Swinging Bridge Marina and Starlight Marina on Starlight Road in Monticello. The tournament will run from 7:00 am 3:00 pm. Registration and check-in will be open at the two marinas from 4:30 am until 6:30 am. Weigh-in will take place at 3:00 pm at the Swinging Bridge Marina with awards to immediately follow.

All recreationists should note that to protect public safety, there will be no water skiing or jet skiing on the Swinging Bridge Reservoir on July 19. All visitors to Swinging Bridge Reservoir should anticipate significantly more boating activity on the day of the tournament.

The first place prize of $6,000, second place prize of $3,000 and third place prize of $1,000 will be awarded for the highest total weight for five fish per boat. A lunker pool will provide a prize for single largest fish. Trophies will also be awarded for the highest weight for individual fish.

About Alliance Energy Renewables

Alliance Energy Renewables, LLC, a direct subsidiary of Alliance Energy, Inc. Alliance Energy specializes in electric power generation, natural gas exploration, production and transportation, and energy technology research into various forms of renewable fuels such as biodiesel and hydropower. From natural gas gathering fields in Alaska to hydro-electric production facilities in the Catskill Mountains of New York, Alliance continuously provides a safe, clean and reliable supply of energy. The Catskills Mongaup Hydro System, comprising the five reservoirs of the Toronto, Swinging Bridge, Cliff Lake, Rio and Mongaup as well as three dams and hydro electric generators, has a combined capacity of 28 MW. Each of the reservoirs is a critical component of the Mongaup system and the license issued by FERC (the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) establishes specific guidelines regarding the management of certain aspects of the reservoirs, including water elevations. Alliance maintains these water levels based on best management practices to ensure safe operation of the system as a whole. Five additional Alliance Energy stratregically located facilities have a combined generating capacity of over 250 MW, primarily utillizing natural gas. Alliance is proceeding to evaluate and retrofit specific facilities for bio-fuels. A hydro-kinetic energy project is pending in the St. Lawrence River in the vicinity of Ogdensburg, NY.
